Election 2015: best political pictures and videos
With the election campaign set to start in earnest this weekend we are likely inundated with picture and videos of candidates in all sorts of embarrassing poses etc......
I would like to kick off with today's look from Bercow to the Tory front bench

Try telling that to foxes and badgers, not to mention the deer he enjoys shooting.
It would be more appropriate if Cameron was photographed with a chicken.

Re: Election 2015: best political pictures and videos
David Cameron’s campaign trail took him to an intimate family barbecue this weekend, where he tucked into a nice hotdog.
The intimate occasion, attended by a number of political journalists and press agency photographers, revealed one strange thing about the Prime Minister’s eating habits, however.

Nothing is ever as he would have you believe with Cameron..........

It would be better if we gave him an undercooked Chicken PH, he would suffer stamach pains let him have some of the pain he has inflicked on the people of the UK, plus he would have trouble with sickness & DIARROHEA.

Re: Election 2015: best political pictures and videos
My modest proposal: ban photo opportunities until after the election
From an article by David Schneider:-
With every policy Labour pumps out, the Tories counter with a devastating and well argued take-down in the form of a photo opportunity. The Tories know that Miliband can’t compete when it comes to the visuals – everyone remembers where they were when they first saw the bacon sandwich picture, and let’s not even begin to count kitchens. But though Labour is trying its hand at more radical and untried areas of campaigning such as “outlining policies” and “having ideas”, the Tories aren’t giving up.
First there was Cameron bottle-feeding a lamb (thank heavens and Nigel Farage he didn’t try to breastfeed it). It was the stuff cartoonists dream of: label the lamb “the electorate”, say that he’s feeding it a mixture of half-truths and empty promises, make a comment about “lamb to the slaughter” and take the rest of the day off. Then there was the picture of Cameron eating a hot dog with a knife and fork. No doubt he eats popcorn and soup the same way. Cynics may say it's hard to know the correct use of cutlery when you’re born with a silver spoon in your mouth.
All this culminated with a school visit where a girl called Lucy did what’s known as a head-desk, an understandable response to Cameron reading to her. It’s as if the Tories have agreed to let their media friends – and Michael Fallon – do the heavy lifting (of weights to be dropped on Miliband’s head), while they try to look cuddly in photos, hoping that someone might even discover a mystery third kitchen. But, like so many of the jobs created since 2010, it’s only working part of the time.

Re: Election 2015: best political pictures and videos
It isn't working though is it, all of these negative personal attacks against Ed since the polling hasn't moved that much at all but overall show that Labour will still be the biggest party after the next election, mostly showing that Labour will fall short between 28 and 17 seats
The Tories are getting very desparate but the British people can see past these personal attacks imo and to see them for what they are.
These set of Tories are the worst set ever. I've been around politics at a close level since knee high and i would admit that i've never been this scared of them, or rather what they might do if they ever get a majority in this country again.
I'm very lucky enough to have options due to a family inheritance abroad which is sitting doing nothing apart from being a holiday home, but i still have that inbuilt social concience and a disabled partner who relies greatly on our brilliant NHS.

Sajid Javid .
Nice seeing him on Daily Politics trying to argue where money for yesterdays announced promises by telling voters to look at the Tory 'Track Record' So we are meant to look at them as a race horse who has won tow out of six races.......
He seemed to be getting angrier and angrier, I almost expected him to turn in to:-

Going back a few posts i'm afraid, as just come back to rejoin you lovely people, how many people go to a barbeque and eat their hot dogs with a knife and fork, sat at a table?
Well that is no barbeque from where I live.
