Your Poll IVAN has cheered me up no end I was starting to worry that England would be voting in another Tory gov't or even worse Tory/Ukip coalition.   But we need to get out there and tell the people of the UK the WHOLE TRUTH  about what WILL happen if they vote Tory or Ukip which would be and end to NHS & NO WELFARE SERVICES.

Because some of the Tory funds come from the companies that run Private Health Insurance and Insurance for when your sacked from your employment, but of course that will only cover you for around six months of being out of work and if we had another recession and with a Tory gov't that is more than likely to happen because the Tories have not put in place laws that would stop the bankers from doing again what they did in 2008. deadhorse

I was watching todays PMQs via Daily Politics, Davy boy came out with  BLOODY BLATANT LIE he said that the Labour party had put in there 2010 Manifesto that they wanted to sell off Royal Mail.    When the program switched back to Daily Politics Andrew Neil had had Labours 2005 2010 Manifesto checked out and could not find any mention of Labour wanting to privatize Royal Mail.

So I am hoping that Ed Miliband orders Davy boy back to the HOC to apologise for telling the UK public another STACK of BLATANT LIES about the Labour party, Davy boy is starting to look desperate could that be becsuse he knows he has not got "A HOPE IN HELL" of the people voting him back into power in May 2015. deadhorse

If Cameron were to be ordered back the Commons every time he told a lie, he would need to carry his sleeping bag and a change of clothes with him permanently.

The man is a disgrace - and yet he manages to outfox Miliband every PMQs with the help of reminders about the Labour record and a compliant bunch of cheerleaders behind him to give the impression of a coherent and loyal party team. He has every chance of continuing the weekly bombastic and all-too-effective assault on Milly until at least 2020 ( although Labour will have another fall-guy by then , of course)...

Did Cameron rush out his U-turn on plain cigarette packaging in a futile attempt to distract attention from the Maria Miller scandal? Or is it that his dirty tricks specialist Lynton Crosby no longer acts as a lobbyist for tobacco companies?  Rolling Eyes

I never witnessed such an appalling lack of discussion, or even general etiquette, skills than with this prime mover.  If I had been paid a quid for every ad hominem (personal reference - sarcasm to you and I) that fell out of his plump mouth I would be rich.

Seriously, why does Cameron make such a fool of himself?  He has already been censured for bullying the newby MP's, and for his habit of telling pork pies when the truth would have done nicely.
The reason he makes a fool of himself at every PMQs AT is because he does not think he is making a fool of himself he actually thinks he is the "BEES KNEES" of PMQs, as for bringing the office of PM into disrepute he has already managed to do that and this refusal to sack Maria Miller has just enforced that.  headbang

I think the answer is to be found in the ancient art of body-language. David Cameron's entire mien during PMQs corresponds exactly to that of a petulant child who knows he has no hope of winning the argument. Or an election, either.

May 2015, Cameron acknowledges defeat.

"The people have spoken, and we must move on. I always knew they were a shifty unreliable bunch of workshy bolshies, so I am glad we were able to shaft them where it hurts. They won't forget our Coalition in a hurry. Now where's that Bank job I was promised?

Maybe Dr Samuel Johnson got it wrong and religion is really the last refuge of the scoundrel?  Evil or Very Mad

David Cameron: 'Jesus invented the Big Society – I'm just continuing God's work'

Cameron has claimed divine inspiration was at work when it came to drafting a key concept for Conservative Party policy. He spoke to Christian leaders assembled in Downing Street – after listening to an unfortunately-timed rendition of ‘Ave Maria’.

That is quite funny IVAN considering he did not take any notice of the letter ARCHBISHOPS CARDINALS and the heads of most other religions signed and sent him.

I doubt that JESUS or GOD would touch Davy boy with a 100feet Barge Pole, I would imagine he would be able to see the mark of Satan on him because Satan marks what is his. thumbsdown

You don't have to ask the French, Head chopperofferers like the Guillotines were originally invented and use in Northern England more than 400 years before Dr Guillotine altered the shape of the blade and made it French.
I believe the last execution by a Guillotine was in the 1970's , so if they still have one, it wont be that old, maybe just 50 years or so.

Letting people get away with anything. Is this the fine art of leadership, David Cameron-style?

Extracts from an article by Mark Steel:-

Now that Maria Miller’s resigned, the cabinet is under-represented by greedy shysters. Some people have suggested that Cameron should create an all-greedy shyster shortlist, to ensure the number in the cabinet reaches an acceptable level, because some statistics show the figure is less than 100%.

The official reason Miller gave for resigning is she “became a distraction”. This suggests the problem wasn’t with her false claims, but that she kept bringing a puppy into work. Or maybe she insisted on pole-dancing during meetings of the cabinet, making it hard for Iain Duncan Smith to concentrate. But the more serious issue could be when Cameron said leadership is “allowing someone to get on with their job”.

True leaders have always been those who ignore someone ruining everything. If Alexander the Great was told one of his generals had lost a battle because he was drunk and set fire to his own horse, he’d go into the garden and do some weeding, saying: “The main thing is to let him get on with his job, which I have to say he does rather well”, because that’s true leadership.

From now on, if you’re caught claiming thousands in benefits you’re not entitled to, you’ll be allowed to ask a group of your mates - half of whom have also been claiming benefits they’re not entitled to - what your punishment should be. They will probably ask you to give a bit of it back, as long as you say sorry with just enough conviction that you don’t actually start giggling, because that’s the sign of true leadership.

The Tories are becoming desperate Ivan and will do or say anything so they get another term in office, I think he knows that is impossible to get people to vote Tory after what he has done to the NHS sick disabled and the hard working people of the UK, which would mean Davy boy losing face when the Labour party win the 2015 general election and his political carreer will be over I AM GLAD TO SAY but what I would really like to see is one of his own plunge that knife right between his shoulder blades.

David Cameron's constituency office calls police on food bank campaigners Bishop of Oxford and Reverend Keith Hebden

Extracts from an article by Felicity Morse:-

David Cameron’s constituency office has come under fire for calling the police on the Bishop of Oxford and Reverend Hebden as they attempted to present him with an open letter on food poverty. Their letter, part of the End Hunger Fast campaign, was signed by 42 Anglican bishops and more than 600 clerics and called on the three party leaders to work with the parliamentary inquiry into food poverty to implement its recommendations.

However, despite Cameron’s Witney office expecting their visit, they were barred from presenting the letter and instead greeted by three police officers. Around 40 people had walked to his office following a service, and while the congregation stood on the opposite side of the road, the Rt Revd John Pritchard and Rev Hebden went to deliver the letter on their own.

Reverend Keith Hebden said: “It is deeply ironic, to say the least, that on the same day David Cameron was writing in the Church Times talking about what a good Anglican he is, he wasn’t able to receive his own bishop in his constituency office. I think this speaks volumes. They were expecting us, we had phoned ahead. Most of my surprise was reserved for them not even opening the door. The letter was positive and addressed to all three party leaders, so it wasn’t political.”

For the whole article:-
