Geography word game

Post by Ivan on Mon Oct 17, 2011 2:42 pm

Name a geographical landmark that starts with the last letter of the place listed before it. (Can be anywhere in the world.)

So - Whitby Abbey could be followed by York Minster.

'R' landmark anyone?

Sutter's Mill

Sutter's Mill was a sawmill owned by 19th century pioneer John Sutter in partnership with James W. Marshall. It was located in Coloma, California, at the bank of the South Fork American River. Sutter's Mill is most famous for its association with the California Gold Rush.

Begining with "Y" it has got to be York, the capital city of Yorkshire, and just for RockOnBrother this nice film is narrated by an American; Go to York anytime and you will always find American tourists "gee Hal, just look at that".
