The reason Davy boy does not want to do the TV debates is because Ed Miliband will peel away the LIES which there is plenty of, and Davy boy knows it & so does Lyton Crosby that is why he is advising Davy boy not to take part in the debates.

Does Dave want to lead the Labour Party?
"It is time Britain had a pay rise": that will be the message from David Cameron, as the Prime Minister addresses the British Chambers of Commerce conference today.

Where have we heard that before?

Hello Red,
I was talking about the dreaded ZERO HOURS to a so called friend of mine. He's a plumber by trade. His reply was, "well it's a job, en it"? Typical of so many i'm afraid.

Re: Is David Cameron a moron from the outer reaches of the universe? (Part 2)
Last October my boss stated that he was going to give us a pay rise, the first, those who are not on minimum wage, will have had since I starting work there four years ago.........
So far he has not said how much it would be..........Or more importantly when it would come in to effect..........
But he did say, last week, that those working on 38 hours a week contracts will have them cut to 33 hours a week.........
With effect from 2nd March 2015..........
Those who are on minimum wage (domestic and kitchen staff) have received the pay rises and are now no more than 15p an hour less than Healthcare assistants.....
As to productivity this time last year he was hoping to have at least 50 beds occupied he currently has 63 out of 67....

Due to the pool of desperate unemployed persons and the erosion of employment rights, he can of course get away with this, although I guess in time it is bound to negatively impact the quality of the service he is selling

I agree stuart there will plenty of jobs up for grabs in HMRC so they can search out all those that are avoiding tax, I bet they will do it with relish.

Spot the connection between
THIS:
Written Answers — Treasury: Revenue and Customs: (8 Jul 2014)
David Gauke: The spending review means HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) will reduce in size to 52,000 full time equivalent (FTE) posts by 2016.
AND this:
HM Revenue and Customs’ performance in answering telephone calls was well below its own targets and industry standards, the National Audit Office has reported today. In its Customer Contact Directorate, which answers 95 per cent of calls to the Department’s contact centres, only 57 per cent of 103 million call attempts were answered, compared with 71 per cent in the year before and an industry benchmark of over 90 per cent.

Re: Is David Cameron a moron from the outer reaches of the universe? (Part 2)
I have had to ring the HMRC helpline in the course of my voluntary work, to get answers for people - used to be a fairly pleasant experience - bit of a wait to be answered, then you spoke to a helpful human being that gave you useful information or told you which department to address your formal written request to.
Now -- you spend at least 25 minutes on hold, being harangued by a robot which requires spoken answers to a range of intrusive questions -name, address, NI number, date of birth, the nature of your enquiry, more detail about the nature of your enquiry, are you sure you're really who you say you are, can't you speak a bit clearer?
If the robot deems you fit enough, you can continue to hold indefinitely until, if you have not died of despair, you finally get to speak to a surly individual, who asks you all the same questions again before telling you to go on line and complete a non-existent 'e' form.
So yes, I would say that HMRC's phone answering performance has dropped off somewhat.
Nowadays, I just advise people to write - saves lots of time and stress

Its time to let the public know just what the Tory cuts have done allowed the Milionaires & Billioniares to get off paying the right amount of tax, in my mind this was all planned out by the Tories I bet they even counted the money they would get paid into Tory funds if they sacked so many people in the HMRC.

If you attempt to telephone either the DWP or HMRC you will very quickly understand the contempt in which we ordinary mortals are held by the powers-that-be

Tens of thousands of jobless teenagers will be barred from claiming benefits from "day one" unless they agree to carry out community work under a future Conservative government.
So says Herr Cameron. It appears he must see them as no better than the criminals who are sentenced to Community Service as a punishment. He obviously has his plans for the school leavers/dregs of humanity, what then of the even younger, I guess restarting workhouses wouldn't be beyond these evil bastards.

The only people Cameron hasn't attacked are the rich (his friends and party donors) and the old (his core vote), although the 'granny tax' must have affected many of the latter. If he should win the election, pensioners had better watch out!
It beggars belief that the Tories are still scoring around 30-32% in the polls; are we a nation of masochists?

agree bobby with what you have said I have been saying for months I was awaiting the unemployed been forced to build the WORKHOUSES, believe it or not but that will be the Tories next move if the people of the UK vote the Tories back into power in May they will pay a heavy price.

Yet he will not admit that Trussell Trust food parcels have tripled since 2010, possibly even more until the full facts come out when we elect a Labour gov't because that is the only way we will get the whole truth.

Re: Is David Cameron a moron from the outer reaches of the universe? (Part 2)
David Cameron is indeed a moron but imo Nick Clegg is an even bigger one.
The LibDims sold out the students and have supported the Tories through all of the austerity cuts
I can remember when i was at the Labour Party count as a scrutineer in 1997 and the party after when we were seeing the results coming in and Michael Portillo lost his seat. It was the biggest roar ever and it looks like Nick Clegg will lose his seat at this election which would be poetic justice along with Nigel Farage as well as the seat that he's contesting is also on a knife edge!

I do hope Nick Clegg loses his seat to Oliver Coppard (Labour) I went to Hallam Sheffield to give Oliver a hand campaigning a few weeks ago IMHO the people of Sheffield will be very lucky because Oliver will be a fine MP really looking after his constituents unlike Clegg who was to busy using his ministerial car to care about the people who voted for him in 2010 plus all the Lies he told to get into power. So the people of Hallam Sheffield will remember what he said before the 2010 G.E and judge him on that .

We live in the Eltham borough of SE London. It's a marginal and our MP Clive Efford is a top notch MP. It was held by Bottomley before 1997 (Virginia's husband)
Clive's majority was greatly reduced in 2010. It's very important that we fight hard to keep this a Labour seat.
