No "may" about it - you did. Don't read too much into it - it's just a rhetorical device such as Cameron might use - you know, the moron from outer space; the one we're supposed to be discussing.

That's a very clever package, redflag. It is amazing nobody but you has thought of it. What you forgot to say is HOW do we stop savages from joining ISIS? What does it mean to "deal with an ideology"? Why would "governments right across the world" all deal with this ideology when some are in favour of it? Why would we send in the bombs when we've already dealt with the problem? You would just need a few bits of string to tie the hands of the impoverished, starving ISIS. And after all this you would TELL the Middle East countries to go in with troops. You must be remarkably convincing on a doorstep. Did you have anything to do with the upsurge of SNP voters perhaps? Just joking!
Let us get something straight marcolucco I was in Hallam Sheffield Carlisle & Wirral West where I met Ed Miliband all of these places I stayed for one week at my own expence in cheap hotels and going without a holiday this year. As for me supporting the SNP when you can not get a FAG PAPER between the Tories & SNP so why would I vote SNP, the people of Scotland are just waking up to the what the real policies of the SNP are (thank God) I have known for a while because NOBODY tells me what to think or how to think.
I think it is about time that you went to join your friends in the Warmonger party ie Tory party, there is a way to stop the Ideology of Daesh but to get rid of them its an all round package that is needed to wipe them out right across the world.

My God - has Hilary Benn joined the Tories? I am stunned, redflag.
Perhaps you should put details of that brilliant peace-bringing package on a scrap of paper and send it to Westminster. It might be of invaluable assistance. I can see that, as you move from door to door canvassing, your persuasive logic will be invaluable to anyone lucky enough to have your support.

It has been suggested that the owlish Hilary Benn is the same person as the languid Jacob Rees-Mogg. I couldn't possibly say.

There is quite a few of the Labour MPs that need to cross the floor (I am very sorry to say) Tony Benn will not be resting in peace at what his son has done OW.

Re: Is David Cameron a moron from the outer reaches of the universe? (Part 2)
Tony Benn’s father was a Labour minister who accepted the title of Viscount Stansgate and sat in the House of Lords as an hereditary peer. When he died, Tony refused to accept the title and in 1963 the law was changed to allow the renunciation of peerages.
In other words, Tony Benn did not share his father’s views, and from what I know of him, he wouldn’t have expected his son Hilary to be a clone of him. So he won't be "turning in his grave", as Alex Salmond unkindly suggested.
Hilary Benn has a right to hold views which are different from those of his father, and though I disagree profoundly with him over the bombing of Syria, I respect his right to be his own man.
However, I’m not sure what any of this has to do with the moronic tendencies of Cameron, the ditherer who can’t even decide where the next airport runway should be placed.

If Cameron, a moron, can see the futility of bombing Iraq and refusing to cross a border unrecognised by ISIS then one would expect those with endowments above the moronic to appreciate the point too. When we choose to regard someone as a moron then surely we must ensure that we ourselves are a good deal above that status so that we can apply the appropriate judgments. Quis iudices iudicabit?

OK bobby got the joke, at the moment I am so angry at some in the Labour party if they fought as hard against the Tories the way they are fighting against Jermy Corbyn the Labour party would be in a more of UNITED party which it is not at the moment.

"Did you know that Tony Blair had spoken to herr Cameron BEFORE he went to Libya to speak to Gadaffe marco ?"
I didn't, Redflag. I believe there are more exchanges between party leaders than we are led to suppose. I think Blair did a vast amount of good in his Northern Ireland efforts; he was a talented leader and offered hope to the millions who voted for his party. Though he still believes he was not wrong in his Iraq decision, he brought instability by getting rid of Saddam, who - good or bad - held Iran in check and held down the horrors we see. Maybe it takes a horror to control a horror. And I saw no good coming from the murder of Gaddafi.
At the moment, Redflag, we need strength and unity of purpose, not division. We need someone strong - not a saint - to make tough decisions regarding our safety. Cameron isn't that person but, sadly, nor is Corbyn. What I hear him saying does not fill me with confidence that people can sleep soundly in their beds. I may be wrong, of course, but I would much rather have someone of the stature of Hilary Benn or perhaps Dan Jarvis, the ex-soldier who would bring more terror to the Tories than ever Jeremy would.

Could that be the reason that Davy boy does not want the Chillcott inquiry results to come out at all.
As for Jermy Corbyn not the one to lead us to victory in 2020 or sooner, in the Labour party we believe in DEMOCRACY that is why members vote for the leader of the party, unlike the Tory party there members do not get a look in who is there leader. It was not just the £3.00 mob that voted for JC it also was the fully paid up members that voted for him, and let us be honest here some in the Labour party and the right wing media have been on his back from the hour the results where announced.
From your post you would prefer a Tory Lite Labour leader, but the voters "DO NOT". We lost the 2010 & 2015 general election and when Labour voters vote Tory there is something going very wrong there, I did think Ed Miliband would have made a really good PM but he was too much of a gentleman to win because he would not or could not ram the Tory LIES down Davy boy & Cleggy's throat and answer the Tory smears & insults.
I did not vote for JC but will defend his right to be the leader of our Labour party, because without DEMOCRACY we do not have a Labour party, and from what I have seen in the last 7 months some of the Labour MPs have turned my stomach and if any of them come up for election as a Labour member I would not vote for them no matter what the election was for. What some of the Labour MPs are doing is DISGUSTING instead of uniting they are moaning and whinging to the right wing media.
In 2010 we ended up with 258 Labour MPs in 2015 we have 232, if those figures do not say anything to you go see your GP as you seem to have problems with your brain power.

Re: Is David Cameron a moron from the outer reaches of the universe? (Part 2)
That's not quite true. Tory MPs vote first and produce a shortlist of two. Then party members get to vote on which of them will become the leader. The choice in 2005 was between Cameron and David Davis.unlike the Tory Party, their members do not get a look in who is their leader.
Re: Is David Cameron a moron from the outer reaches of the universe? (Part 2)
Hello! Just happened to be passing and thought I'd drop by. Today is an important day in the history of the world. The Torygraph has realised that we need to address the Pathocracy of Bush, Blair, Netanyahu (maybe, or should be soon, or too scared to dare) and Putin. They have a wonderful interview with Shaker Aamer which MSN is distorting in its news coverage. The notion that human rights are only for some people, but not those in the way of multi-nationals, is coming out into the open thanks to Liberty action group and I am beginning to hope that our lemming-like highway to hell may be about to become a little less crowded with nations happy to massacre civilians in their bid for a cut in the oil monopoly which Daesh is kindly creating for them. hip hip hurrah. As for whether Cameron lives up to his name (moron by the way is Welsh for carrot) he is a fool who has allowed the evil Blair to dictate Britain's foreign policy for far too long because he and the other champagne, cocaine charlies are children who think their understanding of economics is a short-term bonus bonanza wich should exclude the majority from their club. They cannot see that their tribalism is placing too many others at risk, just as tribalism around the world is doing to so many civilians everywhere. Their policy of othering people who don't matter to them is a major concern. Jeremy Corbyn has been a breath of fresh air to the country and if we are in need of a govenment of national unity in the near future he will have a very important role in it. Happy Christmas to you all - especially to my old friend Marco - lovely to see you here - best wishes to you and yours and wishing a peaceful new year for us all everywhere in the whole wide world xx

Good post methought I will repeat what OW has said do not be a stranger on CE, as for OUR rights going down the toilet while those like Davy boy (pig head lover) have even more rights over our lives. If TTIP comes into being the multi nationalists will have complete power over the workers which will mean the minimum wage will go for sure along with EVERY PART of our public services and yes that does include OUR NHS.
I wish you and yours methought a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year hopefully a Tory free 2016 from me & mine.

I will ALWAYS keep my Redflag flying high marco, I have voted for Tory Lite Labour MPs for leader for far too long and it was not until I went around England campaigning before the 2015 G.E being told the Labour party was NO LONGER Labour but was now a Tory Lite believe me it was not nice to hear from Labour voters marco.
I wish you all the very best for Christmas & New Year but most of all I wish for is for 2016 is that YOU see the Light and an end of the Tory party before 2020.

It is of course, rather more fundamental than making photo-opportunities in wellies. Cameron has blatantly abandoned the Kyoto agreements because to tackle global-warming is a taxing business.
But Thames-side dwellers will probably have the last word on that.
