Today's "SUN" headline represents the first line of Dave's political obituary. His unnecessary invocation of the EU in/out referendum has split the Conservative Party, alienated a large part of the business community, spooked the Bank of England, disturbed Britain's natural trading partners ....
and NOW.....
Mrs Queen has been dragged into political controversy.
They must already be preparing a room in The Tower of London.

“I'm nothing special, in fact I'm a bit of a bore
If I tell a joke, you've probably heard it before.”
I can’t imagine what Abba might have sung if they’d had to look at the same picture of Cameron five times.

Davy boy and others are saying that the conversation between the Queen and who ever gave the Sun the story should not be relating what the Queen said in private HYPOCRITE, Davy boy was telling others after the Scottish referendum phoning the Queen to let her know the result rememeber "Purring Down the Phone" one law for himself and another for the rest of us OW.

Apparently, when it's all over, "Our Dave" wants to seek re-election as an ordinary back-bencher.
Shall we tell 'im?

Lord Ashcroft mocks Cameron as he gets cosy with farm animals in Wales
The peer tweeted a picture of Cameron cuddling a lamb on a visit to a farm - with a speech bubble saying: “I'll pretend you're a pig in a blanket”.

I do not think we should tell im OW, he deserves a severe shock to his system but this would not be my way of giving him what he deserves.

I think when Teresa May bared her cleavage during the budget, she was hoping there would be a general erection

As Cameron claims to stand up for Christian values, the comedian David Schneider offers what should be his favourite Bible quotes:-

It is all very well calling Cameron a moron, but the majority of the British public have become morons too over the past 36yrs. So you could argue Cameron's only playing up to the idiot public.......who get what they deserve.

Re: Is David Cameron a moron from the outer reaches of the universe? (Part 2)
“The so-called Brexit vote was driven by an inchoate sense among older white workers with modest education that they have been passed over, condemned by forces beyond their control to an uncertain job for little pay in a world where their livelihoods are challenged, not just by cheap Asian workers halfway round the world, but closer to home by waves of immigrants of different faiths and skin tones.” (Eduardo Porter, ‘International New York Times’, 29.06.16)
What a very sad day 23 June was. Facts, reason and logical arguments were defeated by bare-faced lies, meaningless slogans, promises whose proponents knew could never be fulfilled, and xenophobia, whose perceived legitimacy by the result has resulted in an outpouring of racism. Worst of all, it inspired the murder of a mother-of-two who also happened to be a Labour MP.
75% of 18-24 year-olds voted to remain in the EU, while 60% of the over 60s voted to leave and to deprive those youngsters of the automatic right to live and work in 27 other countries. Psychologists must have a field day analysing the mindset of the pathetic inadequates who supported Brexit when there was never one credible reason to do so. If you make a mess of your life, or fail because of accident of birth and a disadvantageous environment – or just sheer bad luck – then I suppose it’s only human nature to look for someone or something to blame for your misfortune. Well, there are immigrants who come to the UK and live on benefits, or is it that they come here and take our jobs? It can’t be both, can it? But never mind, blame them and blame the EU for them and for anything that takes your fancy – and of course you can also blame Jeremy Corbyn.
No, sorry, but if you want to blame a politician, start with Nick Clegg. He handed the keys of Downing Street to Cameron and his cronies after less than five days of coalition talks, not even gaining the concession of a proportional voting system or stewardship of one of the major offices of state (exchequer, home, foreign, health, education, defence).
But the politician who is most culpable for the current mess is Cameron himself, the charlatan who in 2010 was going to “fix broken Britain”, and whose brainless idea to hold an in/out referendum to paper over divisions in the Tory Party has fractured our 43-year relationship with the EU and will probably see the end of the United Kingdom. Only a few weeks before the referendum, Cameron also put party interest before decency and social cohesion when he supported the smears being thrown at Sadiq Khan, adding more fuel to the xenophobic fire. I suspect that history will judge him to have been one of our worst PMs ever. He is indeed a moron from the outer reaches of the universe.

If he were Japanese, he would have had to fall on his sword. But as it is, he will have to live with his failure (exceeding even the folly of Anthony Eden in 1956) for the rest of his life.
Shame we no longer have those Bateman cartoons; "The man who set Britain back fifty years."

Ivan,
The thing is Cameron has got away with it. People are thanking him and singing his praises. He is being lauded for being dignified and statesman like; and for behaving honourably.

David Cameron's honours delayed as ‘questions raised’ over nominees
Cameron’s resignation honours list has been held up after concerns were apparently raised about the suitability of some of the close allies he has nominated for recognition.

I do hope that one of the names in question is not the highly-regarded Hesketh Largely-Bonkers who, to my recollection, is the Chairman of Pease Pottage Conservative Club, and is surely fully-deserving of a Knighthood - or a strong sedative...

Re: Is David Cameron a moron from the outer reaches of the universe? (Part 2)
Theresa May has said that Cameron’s government “did many good things” (although she couldn’t wait to sack Cameron’s inept chancellor). ‘The Daily Mirror’ editorial (13.09.16) seems to disagree with her assessment:-
“David Cameron leaves British politics, hopefully for good, as an absolute failure. He is the Tory PM who accidentally lost Europe, running away with his tail between his legs after betting Downing Street on the referendum which destroyed his leadership. His growth-sapping austerity was an ideological idiocy which squeezed family incomes as spending target after spending target was missed – public debt still mounting. His legacy includes an ailing NHS – neglect and political spite leaving our most precious public service on a trolley in a hospital corridor.
Breaking a promise to stay on as an MP, he departs to the sounds of jeers and boos. The creator of the hated bedroom tax, accused of cutting welfare to enjoy the pain of the poor, and refusing to build council houses because Labour voters might live in them, will be no loss. Yet there is something dishonourable about a man who enjoyed the perks of high office deciding he can’t be bothered to serve the constituents who put him in Parliament. Nothing in Cameron’s politics became him like leaving, but it whiffs of an indecent dash for cash.”
Is it time to put this thread to bed and to try to forget this useless excuse for a PM, whose legacy might yet include the break-up of the United Kingdom? Neither the hapless Lord North nor the duplicitous Anthony Eden managed to achieve that.

As the idiot is never likely to be tried for his crimes against the people of Britain, I can see no further reason to keep the thread open - it's a relief to think we will soon stop seeing his face all over the media

Despite the chaos which Cameron has caused for the future of the UK, rumour has it that somebody has given him another job. Could this be it?

New moron in Witney
The government's slim working majority remains in place as the new MP for Witney, Robert Courts, takes over David Cameron's place on the Conservative benches. There was never any serious possibility that the Conservatives would lose this seat, which has returned a Tory MP since its creation. However, the party's share of the vote has fallen dramatically since last year - from 60% to 45% of the vote.
The Liberal Democrats threw not just the kitchen sink at this by-election, but the dishwasher, tumble dryer and the plumbing too. Party leader Tim Farron made five visits here, his last on polling day. It appears to have paid off. The party knocked Labour into third place, taking 30% of the vote.

Maybe this should be the last word on the worst PM this country has had until Theresa May wormed her way into Downing Street?
For generations to come, nobody should ever be in any doubt about whose bloody fault this Brexit mess is.
