You read it here first!
"Gove" and "Militant" appear in same sentence, shock.
Mr Gove named PCS boss Mark Serwotka and Unite's Len McCluskey and Andrew Murray as people for whom "militant is a badge that fits"

Apparently in London the public believe B Johnson to be a better Mayor than Lizard man on everything other than transport. However taking into account the other promises Ken has made regarding transport, most of them will work it out that he plucks figures from midair.

Bumbling Boris, the crowd booed him for holding things up, he is so dim, he thought they was cheering him. He waved to them just like the royalty do.

Boris the Bullingdon boy has turned into a man of the people.....who would've thought london working classes would vote for, and avail themselves before, a Bully boy. I suppose there is a streak of masochism running through the british electorate though when it comes to bending over in front of, and taking it from, divorced from reality toffs.

Parents are understandably confused about Gove's "Academy" ambitions, particularly where English is not their first language, though the word "freedom" should attract anyone, shouldn't it?

I wonder how the voters of London feel now that they have heard Boris's plans to tax or cut even more to pay for his Airport it will only cost them £50 Billion and thats not a lot is it really instead of having to go without food they could manage without a ROOF over there heads

AND
IT'S the Lundingers who SHOULD pay for it, as it will do nowt for anyone living North of Durham Teeside Airport! Lundingers did not pay for the Kielder Reservoir, which they desparaged as a white elephant, yet now, now they want pipes from the Kielder - Birmingham supply extended to London.
Now, I wonder what other service is proposed to take that route!

Councillor David Gillett
This is the man who is introducing Parking Fees for the disabled in Hampshire. He states that his wife is disabled so understands their needs. He also states that other County Councillors have told him that it is a brave thing to be doing.
Perhaps they may award a George medal if you are brave enough to kick a disabled persons crutch from under them.
Able bodied people have a choice of if they use their car or not, but many disabled don’t have such choice and either take a car to their chosen destination or simply don’t go. Are not the UK disabled having it hard enough already with all that Iain Dumkopff Schmidt is doing to them. Have the Tory’s become so dispassionate that it has become a game to them, and are awarded Blue stars for every bit of misery they cause. Is there no end to what they are capable of doing to our sick, disabled, poor and elderly. They are all total Bastards each and every one of them and now their dogma is reaching Local Government “Beware The Tory Bearing a Smile”

Re: You read it here first!
MSN News
Argentina is to make a formal complaint to the United Nations Security Council after accusing Britain of "militarising" their long dispute over the Falkland Islands.
President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner said the UK's decision to send one of its most modern navy warships to the South Atlantic and to post the Duke of Cambridge on military duty in the region posed a risk to "international security".
Her announcement comes amid simmering tensions between London and Buenos Aires in the run-up to the 30th anniversary of the 1982 Falklands war, which saw Argentinian forces invade the archipelago in a row over its sovereignty.
Speaking to an audience including Falkland war veterans and other politicians at Argentina's presidential residence on Tuesday Ms Kirchner said: "I have instructed our chancellor to present formally to the Security Council of the United Nations and before the General Assembly of the United Nations this militarisation of the South Atlantic which implies a great risk for international security."
Following the speech, the UK government insisted that it would not enter into negotiations over the sovereignty of the disputed islands. Relations between the UK and Argentina have been frosty in recent months.
In December, Prime Minister David Cameron accused the Buenos Aires administration of "colonialism" after the Mercosur grouping of countries, which includes Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Paraguay, announced that it would ban ships sailing under the Falkland Islands flag from docking at their ports.
Last week Prince William began a six-week posting in the Falklands region in his role as an RAF search and rescue pilot, while the Government has also revealed it is to send one of its newest destroyers, HMS Dauntless, to the South Atlantic. The Type 45 destroyer is due to set sail for the region on her maiden mission in the coming months to replace frigate HMS Montrose.
In her speech, Ms Kirchner said it was difficult to see how "the sending of an immense and modern destroyer accompanied by the Royal heir who we would have liked to see in civilian clothes and not in military uniform" was not a show of purposeful military strength by the UK. She said Argentina would be opposing "this militarisation of the South Atlantic" because it was a region where "peace reigns".
In a further move, Ms Kirchner's government has named the upcoming top-flight football season in honour of the naval ship sunk by British torpedoes during the conflict.
The season, which begins Friday, will be the known as the first division Crucero General Belgrano. Argentina lost 649 servicemen in the war, 323 of whom were crew members on the Belgrano.
Well that’s what happens when you leave your Country almost Defenceless. Do you remember, the last time the cowardly Argentineans took advantage of our military weaknesses. It was at a time when everything we had that wasn’t nailed down got sold off. At the time of the Last Falklands War we had sold HMS Hermes, and had to renege on the deal to get it back, and of course Herr Cameron just like Thatcher couldn’t do anything without page after page announcing to the World just how clever they (think they) are, just as Thatcher was informing almost on a daily basis via the BBC news what out battle plans where ( how many lives did that cost).
Herr Cameron has responded by sending over our most modern and up to date Destroyer. Is the man (and I use the term loosely) totally off his phucking trolley, does he think that Argentina will still be using Pucara aircraft and other out of date equipment, I’m sure they have learnt a thing or two since the last conflict.
Anyway I will not be buying anymore Argentinean Corned Beef. That will Phucking teach them.

Hello Bobby,
I ain't bought Argentinian produce since the '80's, in fact I threw out my argy leather motorcycle jacket at that time also.
If the corned beef says "product of South America" I don't touch it. Aldi corned beef is from Brazil - as long as they don't get too keen on this wind-up I'll keep buying it. (I still cannot touch ANY Irish products since the Warrington Bombing)

I do not know if any of you have heard there is more trouble within the Universities and it looks like this gov't will have to allow more over seas students in to cover the losses of the Uni's raise in fees, so let us hope this is more trouble for the little turd gove.

I do know that most of you heard Ed Balls once again get caught out lying on the politics show regarding the deficit in 2007 which he denied at the time. If labour had any politicians that people felt they could trust they'd be romping ahead in the polls, unfortunately the labour party is amassed from chancers, fantasists and out right lier's. No wonder the coalition can get away with anything when there is worthy opposition out there.

This is the problem TLTTF...Labour and there core supporters (as endlessly demonstrated here) spend so much time and effort focused on hating the Tories, that they neglect what is important....and that is offering up a viable alternative and trustworthy people for the swing voter to vote for.
So far Labour have an 8-10% lead in the polls, which is to be expected mid term and in recession... and the coalition doesn't do itself any favours either. Taking this away, what have Labour offered the electorate so far?
'We will continue with the cuts and there will be difficult decisions made'
they continue to deny that they dropped the ball with the banks, immigration, welfare dependency and public spending and no amount of BS chucked out by hardcore Labour posters on here or the 2 Eds will con people into 'knowing' otherwise.
They have a weak leadership, which is a hard thing to manage when your opposition is Cameron and Osbourne, but Labour manage to out do them on weakness and likability.
Labour should be 20 points clear at least when you factor in the demise of the Lib Dems, but I believe they and their core supporters think they have already won in 2015...They could be in for a shock (see 1992 for examples)

Re: You read it here first!
Corby Poll: 48 per cent of voters in the constituency prefer David Cameron, Nick Clegg and George Osborne to run the economy compared to 33 per cent for Ed Miliband and Ed Balls.
In a General Election voters put the economy at the top of their priorities, if this percentage preference is repeated throughout the nation then Labour has no chance of getting into power. If half of people in a Labour majority don't trust them with the economy then God help Labour nationwide.
The obvious contradiction between this preferance and voting Labour at Corby simply highlights the vagueries of a by-election.

Re: You read it here first!
Red.......Come on be serious!!!! Does any one really expect the sitting government ( lets just say the Tories) to win a mid term by election in the midst of a recession??!!!
Not even the most loyal of Tory supporters would expect to win that one. Winning Corby will be like getting 3 numbers up on the Lottery....Nice, but it sure ain't the jackpot or life changing.
On a another note, I am delighted many of you Labour people think you have the next GE in the bag already. It will make things easier for the Tories when you actually have to come up with some serious policies following your 'No' to every spending cut put forward. Most of the general public are not that stupid, although I expect you would like them to be
