Cameron is obnoxious and loathsome
First topic message reminder :
We were warned two years ago that Cameron is an obnoxious and loathsome individual, but not enough people were listening:-

Re: Do the Tories have anything to offer us other than myths and lies?
There was a time when a minister lying to the House of Commons meant he had to resign both from the government and from Parliament, as the late John Profumo found out in 1963. Not so nowadays, sadly.
Jeremy Hunt admits making false claims in the House of Commons - but refuses to apologise
He inflated the increase in mental health workers in the NHS by 43 times, boasting that there are 30,000 more people working in mental health today than when Labour left office. The correct figure, according to Channel 4 News’ FactCheck, is an increase of just 692 people. The increase has been largely driven by a rise in the number of psychotherapists in the NHS, while the number of mental health nurses has dropped by more than 5,000 since 2010.

I'm afraid they all tell lies - it's got common - and that means usual - which means they get away with it - until, of course, they don't (fingers crossed)

The Daily Telegraph is not for nothing also known as the Torygraph, but Saturday's edition had scarce comfort for Mrs. May's government. Perhaps the most positive (?) comment was from an Investor who said he would sell all his shares in British companies if Jeremy Corbyn were to be elected PM.
The Sunday Times was similarly unflattering. Only young Lawson scraping together a few remarks that wouldn't upset his Dad.

To some extent, it seems, the wheels may be falling off the Tory comedy car

Re: Do the Tories have anything to offer us other than myths and lies?
“Since 2010, our economy has grown by 15.8%, meaning we can deliver world-class public services”
That’s what the Conservatives’ official Twitter account posted last Monday.
Channel 4 FactCheck comments:-
The Conservatives’ tweet strongly suggests economic growth since 2010 has led to increased public spending. They said the boost means “we can deliver world-class public services”. But in fact, since the party’s been in office, annual growth in government spending has consistently been lower than annual growth in GDP. It’s odd that a party that has spent much of its seven years in office implementing spending cuts would emphasise public services in this context.
