Geography word game
First topic message reminder :
Name a geographical landmark that starts with the last letter of the place listed before it. (Can be anywhere in the world.)
So - Whitby Abbey could be followed by York Minster.
'R' landmark anyone?

Re: Geography word game
New Scone
The Earl of Mansfield got tired - poor soul! of seeing the proletariat on his doorstep so shifted them brick by brick to the New Holding. Interestingly, the FIRST part of Scone is called OLD SCONE and the posh top end is called NEW SCONE and all this under the 'new' banner. Therefore, two 'Old Scone's - one by the Scone Palace and one in New Scone!
I wager this keeps DHL deliveries entertained!
Scone - pronounce Scoon.
