Thinking - nice picture - wonderful green. Don't know if you noticed - we have another Cheshire denizen on board - wonder if you two know each other.
Deadly - I didn't know WWZ was shot in Glasgow (cultural desert, that's me) - must have been very disruptive

Beautiful. I stayed in Elterwater back in June then had another week in the Lakes (Ambleside this time) at the end of last month.Thinking...do be patient wrote:Loughrigg Tarn. https://i.servimg.com/u/f56/18/56/88/13/snc10315.jpg

Sadly No If you look online you will more than likely find pics of him on set as I believe they're was loads. I only got some of the set, seeing the American street signs and yellow cabs was enough to set off my geek factor into over driveboatlady wrote:Brad was spotted several times in and around the city centre

Did they use the locals as extras? It would've saved a fortune on costumes and make-up.Deadly Nightshade wrote:Yeah I think it was here for around 4 - 5 weeks Brad was spotted several times in and around the city centreboatlady wrote:

I don't think boatlady that I know anyone here or even from my area in Cheshire. Most of the people I know are Social Services and the Probation officer.boatlady wrote:Thinking - nice picture - wonderful green. Dan Fante thanks for appreciating my Loughrigg Tarn photo - that gives me an excuse to post another!

Thank you. I loved your flower photo you posted yesterday. I can never get good flower shots.
Ivan's fox (at least that's what it appears to be) is cute, too!

Not sure if your trying to be funny, insulting or matter of fact but either way your comment was lost on me.Dan Fante wrote: they use the locals as extras? It would've saved a fortune on costumes and make-up.

Yes, it is a fox, and she's extremely tame. Sits outside my front door until I feed her, will come to within an arm's length of me and even comes when I call her.

I was trying to be funny. I thought the wink would have told you it wasn't meant to be serious. I like Glasgow, having visited the place on several occasions. Most of the locals have a sense of humour as well, in my experience and they're not exactly averse to sending up the many 'Neds' you have up there either.Deadly Nightshade wrote:Not sure if your trying to be funny, insulting or matter of fact but either way your comment was lost on me.Dan Fante wrote: they use the locals as extras? Thinking, that picture of the shady lane meandering off into the distance made me want to get my boots on and explore - very atttractive indeed.
Whenever I take pictures they come out a bit fuzzy, so I really appreciate the ones other people take.

No problem, DN. I'm new to this place and it usually takes a while for people to adjust to my crap sense of humour anyway.Deadly Nightshade wrote:Ok sorry if I came across as sharp, sense of humour seems to be a bit off of lateDan Fante wrote:I was trying to be funny. That's an interesting plant, vappuk. Never seen or heard of it.
This is another shot from the recent mountain trip. I liked the way the sun was behind the aspen trees.

Which is exactly why I appreciate the fact that I CAN see it.

Experience of social networks suggests that it's only a question of time before someone treads deliberately on this sandcastle.

A couple set their camera for a photo and then an imposter decides to turn it into a 'selfie':-

In other news, the Titanic has sank.
It is a fantastic, serendipitous shot though. I must try and dig out some of my photos from the Canadian Rockies and stick them in here (I think that's where that couple were holidaying when they took that photo).

When Tim Berners-Lee "invented" the internet 25-years ago, I doubt whether he could have imagined just how popular it would become for cute images of kittens.
