The lesser known political parties of the UK

Here are some of the smaller and lesser known political parties of the United Kingdom, have a look at them, read about what they stand for and state what you think.

The other side of the coin to UKIP ( United Kingdom Independence Party ) is the Federalist Party of the United Kingdom, a centre party which is very new and very much in favour of the European Union.

The Monster Raving Looney Party - by elections just wouldent be the same without them, and when you feel a bit down or want to inject a chuckle into yourself, then have a browse.

How can anybody be expected to rely on a list which fails to mention my League for World Domination? (disbanded in 2010 due to a misunderstanding over campaign receipts, but due to be RE-LAUNCHED as soon as the Hon. Treasurer gets back from a well-earned rest in Barbados.)

The LfWD surely cannot be regarded as 'lesser-known'. Its name is on everyone's lips in the Pease Pottage Conservative Club, which regards it as the biggest single threat - after sanity - to consecutive Tory General Election victories...

Currently working on a political party. Not going to be registered in time for the next few elections, so it's more of a pressure group. It has only just started, but the manifesto etc is all here:

Your movement claims to be non-partisan, but it does sound rather right wing to me, and the symbol of the cross ? - what is that all about, do you believe in a secullar state.

Firstly I would say that it does sound right wing in the manifesto, however many of our views on personal liberty and a sense of everybody having an equal education and an equal chance to succeed are based on libertarian ideals.
 
However, I would agree that these have not been fairly represented in our manifesto and I shall be rectifying this.
 
With regards to your question regarding our views on religion, we believe in not a secular state but a state founded on religious values. So we effectively have our core beliefs in Christianity, hence the cross.

What about Law and Order in your manifesto?

There seems to be no mention of it.......

Law and Order, yes indeed. Everyone must obey the Law or take the consequences. Whatever is not forbidden will be compulsory. Which part of that is difficult to understand?

On watching a debate in House of Commons very recently, I noted they stated UKIP was within 1% of YouGov polls of overtaking the LibDem party.

Add to that the 81 Tory MPs who voted against their own PM in defiance of a three-line whip and you have the makings of an entirely new Political force in the land.

Don't forget the New Labour MPs who joined them OW.

If they go on as they have been going they'll be much lesser known after the next election though!

The BNP looks to be a spent force, but the EDL will no doubt fill any vacancy.

The older i get the less i know what any of the parties stand for, in fact i doubt it they know what they stand for.
Screaming Lord Such's Raving Loonie Party seems to have the edge on them all, i look back to the days of Aneurin Bevin, Nye Bevin, and Harold Wilson, truely commited politicians to the grass roots of the Labour party.

They stand for various number ones, with many of them also backing the City, I suppose. The puzzle is, since none of them can be trusted to make clear promises or keep them, is whether it is still worth voting. I suppose it keeps 'em on their toes when it comes to dishing out the propaganda!
