We seem to have had a thread about Milliband and time running out for his leadership but now there seem to be more and more knives coming out for Vatman and Dobbing, I'll let you decide who is who?

It now seems more and more of their own side (Tory MP's) are openly speaking out against them........

Nadine Dorries: David Cameron And George Osborne Are 'Arrogant Posh Boys'

David Cameron and George Osborne are "arrogant posh boys" who do not understand the lives of ordinary people, according to Tory MP Nadine Dorries.

Speaking on the BBC's Daily Politics programme on Monday, the MP for Mid-Bedfordshire was asked if she thought the prime minister and chancellor were out of touch with voters.

"Unfortunately I think that not are only Cameron and Osborne two posh boys who don't understand the price of milk," she said. "They are too arrogant posh boys who show no remorse, no contrition and no passion to want to understand the lives of others - and that is their real crime."

All I would add is a comment I posted elsewhere.

What surprises, or perhaps not on closer inspection, is the fact that the great british public are still willing to splay themselves to the mercy and whim of toffs and aristocracy in the modern age. Joe Public still seems all too happy to doff his cap, bend over, and be royally shafted by his supposed betters.

Are we really just a nation of pathetic masochists willing to avail ourselves to the 5% at the top who happen to be psychopathic sadists?

Aneurin Bevan put it another way: “How can wealth persuade poverty to use its political freedom to keep wealth in power? That's the whole art of Tory politics.

I think I have the answer to this: I think it's because we tend to trust people whom we deem as superior. If we had the choice between a well-spoken, middle class teacher and a cockney teacher, we'd pick the former, wouldn't we? We feel safer in the hands of posh people because they automatically seem more intelligent and more likely to get things right.

Posh people themselves definitely wouldn't want lower-class people to rule over them.

(Obviously by "we" I don't mean everyone.)

If anybody can put forward a politician that is neither wealthy or at the behest of the wealthy, please name him and find out if he/she is affiliated to any major party. Any info would be much appreciated.

Some years ago, Dennis Skinner blurted out in the House of Commons: "Half the Tories opposite are crooks". Immediately he was ordered by the Speaker to withdraw the remark. Skinner replied: "Half the Tories opposite aren't crooks".

I am very Leftwing , it's in my blood but
Dennis has no integrity,
On taking his seat, he undertook publicly to stand down from Parliament at the age of 65 (therefore in 1997), just as he would have retired had he remained as a miner; this was so that he would not be 'taking another man's job' He has, however, since stood and been re-elected in four General Elections.

I would not be comfortable fighting a battle with a man of such duplicity , Integrity means everything to me , and yes it's a very utopian premise , but hey my standards are bloody high , I have cut people , friends down to size for similar , If that makes me unpopular ......I sleep easy.I was brought up with this mantra , and have been knocked down a peg or ten during my time on the planet for similar
Attack the Right forever , I will shout my self horse doing so , but check a little closer to home on occasions , the Labour party has it's fair share of career politicians wanting to climb the greasy pole , it is my party of choice for better or worse ha ha , in sickness and health , I can hear the wedding bells now ha ha .

No. IMO they will last the full 5yr term and unfotunately nothing and nobody
will change that, not even Tories like Nardine who must feel utterly ebarrassed to be associated with the two arrogant out of touch toffs.

In my dreams I was hoping for a complete walk out to bring the barstewards to their knees. I dream on as the British public lack the guts I am sorry to say.

Yet another brilliant article from Sonia Poulton:-

"I am in my forties and I can state, without reservation, that I have never known a Prime Minister of our country to be so out of touch with the needs of the electorate.

Our current Prime Minister and Chancellor are as transparently uncaring with the people they represent as it is possible to be without actually lining us up against a wall, loosening a clip and finishing us off."

Nadine Dorries , I have little or no time for because If she was unlucky enough to be chosen for a cabinet position in Cameron's cabal , she would be singing from the hymn sheet as the rest of the front bench , however the way the Daily Mail is turning on the Tories is pleasing , but I am sharp enough to realise that the majority of the country is feeling the proverbial pinch and the Mail wants new readers , I mean Melanie Phillips will never twist the knife regarding the tories.
Sonia Poulton's article is nothing I didn't know already , no new revelations.

Cameron should give Nadine Dorries a position , that would show her for the manipulative woman she is , the same woman who appeared on the Channel 4 show with MPs spending a week in an unemployment hot spot , only to be found hiding a fifty pound note in her bra , they were meant to be living for the week on unemployment benefit amounts , to show how they would cope.

Amid continued criticism of the coalition's performance, the Prime Minister insisted it was taking the right actions but was "sometimes" failing to get its message across.

He and his disaster brigade are getting their message across well and truly. The wrong one it seems as they slump disasterously in the polls.

After once thinking that Nadine :albino: was a penny short of a shilling, I am beginning to think I was mistaken scratch - although Scarecrow IS probably right in his judgement of Nadine king .

Her very appropriate assessment of Dave elephant and his pack of ram-raiding idiots jocolor is absolutely spot-on pertinent and incisive.

Let me make this absolutely clear study :

The men in grey suits :bom: are already activated and are now paving the way for a challenge to Cameron's inept buffoonery elephant . This is a fact.

I predict that during May a stalking horse will appear :pirat: , maybe even Nadine, who knows!- and the contest will begin in earnest. Blood will be on the carpet as the excrement hits the fan Twisted Evil .

Cameron WILL lose that contest, and the new leader will have to work like billyo to make amends and clear-up the truly monumental mess this present colony of red and fat-arsed Barbary apes have made with their usual creative gusto. elephant

I also predict that Cameron will go down in political history as the most incompetent jackass clown in the history of modern British politics.

I know this sounds terribly, terribly, harsh Sad , but let's all admit that saying it how it is now is most desirable and definitely required. geek

One must be cruel to be kind! Cool

Post by bobby Tue Apr 24, 2012 11:29 am

Generally I don’t put too much faith in individual polls, but the present trend is now becoming very dangerous for Herr Cameron and it can not be ignored. We of the left know he is a total liability, it now seems there are now members of his own party thinking the same.

Isn’t it strange that more Tories are turning than the traitorous Lib-Dems. This clearly proves that they (Lib-Dems) are only in it for the kudos power brings, and must now know they are in the last throws of their parties life. They have been totally compliant in sighing off the NHS Bill, knowing full well the vast majority of the public don’t want it privatised either in part or as a whole. They have gone along with Herr Cameron on almost everything he wanted, yet are now crowing over the lifting of low paid earners tax allowance, even that isn’t the £10,000 threshold Clegg promised, yet they seem to think the people will now see them as benefactors, they forget about the raising of VAT which taxed everyone irrespective of how low their income is.

This Government I feel are quickly coming to an end, Herr Cameron has a Country on the brink of revolt, a party on the brink of revolt, and their position is only held together by the Lib-Dem low life’s. How long will that last as they loose more and more credibility and are taking their party down the road of oblivion. I don’t believe this Government will be able to last the full term unless they rid themselves of Herr Cameron and Boy Blunder and make some much needed U-Turns regarding their Austerity measures, The NHS and some of the Welfare reforms. And what a plus it would be if some, or better still all the millionaire front benchers paid their phucking Taxes.

Bobby, savvy, informed post reflecting the need for realism in a world of lies and misinformation; even today James 'shxthead' Murdoch has lied again! The link with Cameron being once again expounded, and yet another nail in his hypothetical and metaphorical coffin.

Frankly, I cannot wait to witness the inexorably entertaining theatre of catastrophe that Cameron will play such a prominent part in, so let the show pull back its curtains and present a tale of woe so ludicrous it beggars belief.

Oh what a tangled web has been weaved and what fun at seeing the downfall of this pack of wolves! I know I must sound like a little old hag knitting at the foot of the guillotine but what the heck!

Has a political downfall ever seemed so well-earned? I really, really doubt it!

If the venom and rage from the Left on all the political forums on the net in the UK were to be bottled , it would be 200% proof , it would blow your F***ing head clean off , were one to attempt to drink it / inject it LOL . Without direct action , the people of the UK will do just that , vent there anger on forums , strike action will be a start , but the good people of blighty need to smell the coffee , one million marched on London to protest the Iraq war , even a blind man could see the outcome before they marched.
I live in one of the safest tory seats in Britain , Andrew Mitchell is my atrocious MP, I am not wealthy by any stretch , I have never wanted to visit his surgery , but have spoken to him on the doorstep , in a rare visit he did under orders for Herr Scameron, he is devoid of any understanding of what normal people feel , having been in banking LAZARD bank , he has one of the most sought after positions in government Overseas Development Secretary , this is like putting the fox in the chicken coup , he is free to instigate dodgy deals 24/7 on behalf of the government , feathering nests as he goes. His eyes glazed over as I spoke at length about everyday concerns.
They just don't get it , the penny is not dropping , they are glued to their mantra of greed.
