Wouldn't it be rather nice if the press put that on their front pages? Pigs might fly but that is what should happen.
If it were Brown or Miliband or Blair, it would make headlines for days in not just the press but the media as a whole.

Ivan, the problem is, they may have said these things about Cameron once and once only, none of them bother to continue to character assassinate unfortunately. There must be a thousand or more loaded bullets to be fired at Cameron. Ed and Co should be gathering it all and to somehow get across to the fickle public with short memories. The question is "somehow", a soap box on Hyde Park Corner?

eg Rachel Reeves said she would make immigrants pay into the sytem for 2 years before they could claim benefits Cameron came out with making immigrants wait 4 years before they could claim benefits, I still say that Ed has got something up his sleeve for the 30th March and onwards.

Balls said "tough but balanced" which is better than unbalanced cuts that hit only the poorest and railroaded unfair measures that so far have done little in cutting the deficit, whilst assisting the rich to the nth degree by this incumbent shower of toffs.

'Conservatives' Election Poster Features 'Road To Recovery' Shot Taken In Germany

The Tories' much vaunted election poster campaign was in tatters on Saturday night after it emerged that the featured "road" was in fact a picture taken in Germany.

Chancellor George Osborne said last night that it was "British road" shown on the election poster which promised the party would keep Britain on the "road to a stronger economy".

"It's a British picture, a British road," he told Channel 4 News, after rumours began to swirl on Twitter about the pictures.

The colours have changed, the sky altered and a gap in the trees has been created, with some further fields added to the background.

Burzik told Channel 4 News that the original photograph had been taken near his home town of Weimar, in central Germany.

I have wondered why the Tories are desperate to get back into power could it be they do not want to be known as the "One Term Firm" or could it be they do not want Labour to find out all there underhand dealings plus find out the truth about the deficit.

Quite a lengthy article OW. In simple terms IMO Blair was the best and clever with it. Yes the rich got richer on his watch however, so did the poor, therefore the "divide" remained the same unlike now of course with Tory ideology to transfer wealth from the botton, the middle to the top.
Unfortunately he was blamed for the Iraq war which finished him off following Tory propaganda,even though they went along with that war. Now the bastard Tories refuse to send in ground troops
albeit a few would be required if most of the other states did the same to crush ILS. They know that to do would affect their election chances. Election of the Tory party more important to them than the safety of the British people.

Today the election campaign began with a reversal of normal logic. Cameron and other Cabinet Ministers, including Gideon Osborne resplendent in pancake make-up, told us all about Labour Policy, while the two Eds (Miliband and Balls) explained the shortcomings in Tory arithmetic - not exactly hindered by the news that four or five NHS hospitals had announced they were in meltdown.
